Here is the official guide to the forums. Newcomers are recommended to read this and use this as a general handbook before contributing to this academy. Please keep in mind that this is subjected to change as more updates are made.

1. Read the rules provided in the following link: https://roseoftheeclipse.forumotion.com/t1-rules-and-guidelines-for-rote-da Understanding the rules is one of the basics when it comes to anything.

2. Get tested. It is most recommended that you get tested as soon as possible since joining the academy or else, a lot of events for you may be limited. Testing Rubric is provided in the following link: https://roseoftheeclipse.forumotion.com/t8-test-rubric It is best to familiarize yourself with the rubric before undertaking your test. The list of testers are listed in the following link: https://roseoftheeclipse.forumotion.com/g9-testers

3. Make an introduction in the following section: https://roseoftheeclipse.forumotion.com/f4-introductions-and-farewells It's always good to make friends by introducing yourself so that others may know more about you and in order to find others with common interests.

4. Browse and post on the Forums. Our community is continuously growing and you are the ones making this happen. You can easily notify others by tagging them in your posts by simply typing an "@" sign before the username. If the person you are intending to tag has a special character such as ~ or a space(s) in his/her username, add in quotations around their username. Ex: @username and @"user_name" / @"user name" Lastly as a reminder, be aware not to spam!

5. Earn Post Counts and Points. As you post in most on-topic sections, you will receive post counts and points. You can view your point and post counts by viewing your own profile and they will appear like so: http://prntscr.com/7st4wv Once you receive enough points, you are allowed to purchase them in the shop: https://roseoftheeclipse.forumotion.com/t7-available-prizes As your post count increases, your member title will change as so: http://prntscr.com/7st68a

6. Use the chat. Get to know people! And the best way to do that is by directly talking to them. Keep in mind of the rules for the chatbox, though! They're all provided in the Rules link.

8. Relax and have fun! This is a gaming community, after all! Chill out in the Free Section of the forums where you can have fun with people with interests outside of Yu-Gi-Oh!
